Dung Eater Questline walkthrough

  1. Meet him. After reaching the Altus Plateau, a room past the Twin Maiden Husks opens. The Dung Eater only talks once you hold a Seedbed Curse.
  2. Sewer-Gaol Key. Show him a Seedbed Curse and he gives you the Sewer-Gaol Key.
  3. Free his body. In the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, start at the Underground Roadside grace, drop through the grate and head past the giant Miranda sprouts to his locked cell. Open it and release him.
  4. His invasion. He invades you in the outer moat of Leyndell after you talk to Blackguard Big Boggart. Defeat him for the Sword of Milos.
  5. Five Seedbed Curses. Return to his body in the cell and give him five Seedbed Curses.

Ending and rewards

He gives you the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse for the Blessing of Despair ending. Reload the area to find his Omen set.

Tips

  • Seedbed Curses are found on corpses across the late game; all six are mapped in our Seedbed Curse locations guide.
  • Giving him Seluvis’s potion instead ends his questline.
  • Track the bosses you beat with the boss checklist.
