How the boss fight simulator works
- Each boss has three or four signature skills taken from the game, with their own damage, range, wind-up and cooldown.
- Strength is calibrated to each boss’s 1 to 10 difficulty rating from our boss guides: in thousands of simulated fights, a boss rated 10 beats one rated 4 about nine times out of ten.
- Every fight is different: dodges, critical hits, blood loss, scarlet rot and second phases can swing the result.
- Fights that happen in the story follow the lore: at the Battle of Aeonia Radahn held Malenia at bay until Scarlet Aeonia, so that matchup is close to even. Related bosses show a lore note.
- Malenia heals with every hit, Mohg heals through Nihil and Maliketh’s Destined Death cuts maximum HP, just like in the game.
