Boc is the demi-human seamster you first meet disguised as a bush in Limgrave. Help him and he alters your armor for free; his story ends with a question about his looks.

Boc the Seamster Questline walkthrough
- The talking bush. Attack the suspicious bush northwest of the Murkwater Bridge. Boc reveals himself and gives you mushrooms.
- Coastal Cave. Defeat the two Demi-Human Chiefs in the Coastal Cave and bring Boc the Sewing Needle and Tailoring Tools.
- Lake-Facing Cliffs. Rest at the Lake-Facing Cliffs grace in Liurnia: Boc now alters armor for free.
- Following you. He moves to East Raya Lucaria Gate, Altus Highway Junction and East Capital Rampart as you progress.
- Gold Sewing Needle. Find the Gold Sewing Needle at the Church of Vows and give it to Boc. He then asks how he looks.
Ending and rewards
Give him a Larval Tear: he goes to Rennala to be reborn and dies.
Use the “You’re beautiful” Prattling Pate: he accepts himself and swears to serve you.
Do neither: he stays outside the Grand Library.
Tips
- The “You’re beautiful” ending is the kindest.
- Keep your Larval Tears for respecs instead.
