The fight opens with Midra in human form; after a short first phase he transforms into his true form, wreathed in the yellow flame of frenzy.

- Flame Strands: Strands of frenzied flame sweep toward you; roll forward as they reach you, then delay your second roll.
- Triple Greatsword Swing: A right-left-right combo; dodge toward the weapon each time.

- Golden Crux: He grabs and plunges; dodge forward before the impact, then forward again for the aftershock.
