Overview

The moth fires magic bolts and inflicts poison; the scorpion stomps and snaps with physical attacks. Fire damage is the answer to both.

In phase 2 the two combine for charging attacks and tracking beams.

Key attacks and how to avoid them

  • Light Bolt (moth): roll sideways or into the bolts.
  • Stomp (scorpion): stand on the opposite side or behind it.
  • Rain of Light (moth): stand directly under the moth.
  • Combined charge (phase 2): strafe to the sides, never stay in front.
  • Orbital Beam (phase 2): keep moving after the burst.

How to beat Gnoster, Wisdom of Night

  • Bring fire weapons or fire incantations.
  • Fight from the scorpion’s sides and back.
  • An Ironeye helps keep damage on the flying moth.
