Overview
In phase 1 Caligo stays mostly on the ground with sweeps and frost breath. In phase 2 it takes to the air and dives with ice projectiles, hitting much harder.
Fire damage both hurts it and briefly stuns it.
Key attacks and how to avoid them
- Freezing Breath: roll to the side of the cone.
- Freezing Tail Whip: stay at its rear-left to attack safely.
- Frozen Sky: sprint away from the crackling sound or get underneath it.
- Flying Ice Barrage: roll toward its head.
- Ice Blast: hide behind ice pillars on the far side.
How to beat Caligo, Miasma of Night
- Bring fire weapons, fire pots or fire incantations.
- Strike weapons are also effective.
- In phase 2, chip away instead of overextending.
