📜 Lore – The Last Guardian of the Flame
The Fire Giant is the last survivor of the War against the Giants.
Long ago, Queen Marika ordered the destruction of the Giants to prevent the Flame of Ruin from threatening the Erdtree.
Cursed to guard the Forge of the Giants, he remains bound to his duty.
He is not evil.
He is the final remnant of a forgotten genocide.
When he falls, the Flame of Ruin becomes yours.
⚔️ Phase 1 Strategy
🎯 Primary Weak Spot: Left Ankle (with splint)
This is the key to Phase 1.
Recommended Approach:
- Stay close to his left leg
- Target lock the ankle
- Use Bleed builds (he has very high Frostbite resistance)
- Torrent is optional (can help repositioning)

→ Roll toward the giant, not away.
🔥 Fire Pots
Throws explosive fire bombs.
→ Sprint sideways; don’t panic roll.
🏃 Giant Roll
He rolls across the arena.
→ Stay mounted or sprint diagonally.
❄ Snow Toss
Creates freezing ground patches.
→ Avoid standing in lingering effects.
🔥 Phase 2 – The Real Fight Begins
At about 47% HP:
He tears off his own leg.
The second face on his torso awakens.
Arena becomes far more dangerous.
Phase 2 Mechanics
- Massive fire AoE explosions
- Homing fire orbs
- Body slam with fire burst
- Rolling attacks with delayed explosions

→ Do NOT stop moving
→ Kill orbs quickly if possible

Mounted combat limits precision.
🛡 Recommended Builds
🔪 Bleed Build
Rivers of Blood / Dual Katanas
Extremely effective due to HP scaling.

Colossal weapons with a Heavy or Keen affinity (skip frost, he resists it).
