Scadutree Fragments are the most important upgrade in Shadow of the Erdtree. Each one you spend at a Site of Grace raises your Scadutree Blessing, which makes you hit harder and take less damage inside the Realm of Shadow. Your normal character level matters far less in the expansion than this blessing, so if a boss feels impossible, the fix is usually more fragments. This guide lists all 50, grouped by region, with how each one is picked up.

Where to find all 50 Scadutree Fragments
Most fragments glow at the foot of a Miquella’s Cross (many of these are also Sites of Grace) or in the hands of a small Marika statue. The rest drop from enemies that carry a pot on their back (Shadowpots), from Lesser Golden Hippopotamus, or sit on corpses. Region totals add up to 50.

Quick early route for your first fragments
If you just entered the Realm of Shadow, these are the easiest ones to grab before the first bosses:
- Ride to the Church of Consolation south-east of the Scorched Ruins for 2 fragments.
- Touch the crosses at Three-Path Cross, Main Gate Cross and Pillar Path Cross, one fragment each.
- Kill the Shadowpot enemies near the Scorched Ruins and Cliffroad Terminus.
- On the way into Castle Ensis, take the fragment at the soldier camp and the one at the Checkpoint cross.
- Grab the cross at Belurat, Tower Settlement when you go through the dungeon.
That is 10 fragments, enough for several blessing levels before Rellana. Later, the Scadutree Chalice behind the Shadow Keep’s Back Gate is the best single stop with 5.
How the Scadutree Blessing works
- Rest at any Site of Grace in the Realm of Shadow and pick the blessing option to spend fragments.
- Each level raises the damage you deal and lowers the damage you take, but only inside the Realm of Shadow.
- Early levels are cheap; the cost rises to 3 fragments per level for the upper levels, so +20 needs all 50.
- Your Spirit Ashes and Torrent use a separate blessing that is upgraded with Revered Spirit Ash, not with Scadutree Fragments.
