All 69 base-game shields with damage negation, guard boost, weight and requirements. Guard boost decides how much stamina you lose when blocking: higher is better. Patch 1.17 raised guard boost and lowered weight on many shields, so some in-game numbers are now higher than listed here.

Which shield type?
- Small shields (bucklers, round shields): best for parrying; patch 1.17 made the follow-up after a parry faster.
- Medium shields: the all-rounder. 100% physical block with moderate weight.
- Greatshields: the highest guard boost, so you lose little stamina when blocking. Pair with Barricade Shield or a spear for guard counters.
