The Valiant Gargoyles are a duo fight in the Siofra Aqueduct, below Nokron. The second gargoyle joins partway through, and both breathe poison. This guide explains how to handle the two-on-one.

Overview
The first gargoyle descends when you enter the waterfall chamber. When it drops to about half health, the second gargoyle (with a twinblade) joins in.
Both are immune to every status effect. Strike weapons are your best friend.
How to reach the Valiant Gargoyles
From the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs grace, follow the tunnels and stairs down to the large waterfall chamber.
Preparation
- Strike weapons: hammers, great hammers, colossal weapons.
- A tanky Spirit Ash to hold one gargoyle while you fight the other.
- Try to bring the first gargoyle as low as possible before the second arrives.
Moveset and how to counter it
Focus the first gargoyle hard before the second one joins.
Poison breath
It hunches over and breathes poison. Run to the side of the arena.
Greatsword and axe combos
Dodge through the swings and punish the recovery.
Twinblade gargoyle
The second gargoyle spins quickly. Keep both in view.
Best builds and tools
- Strike damage.
- Avoid slash and pierce.
- No status builds: they are immune.
