Radagon of the Golden Order and the Elden Beast are the final bosses of Elden Ring. It is a two-part fight: first Radagon, a holy-hammer duelist, then the Elden Beast, a cosmic dragon that fills the arena with light. Here is how to finish the game.

Overview
Radagon hits hard with holy hammer attacks but has long recovery times. Once he falls, the Elden Beast appears and the fight continues without a break.
The Elden Beast is immune to every status effect and resists almost everything except physical damage. Its hardest part is the size of the arena: it often moves away and you have to chase it.
How to reach the Elden Beast
After beating Godfrey / Hoarah Loux in the Ashen Capital, rest at the Elden Throne grace and step forward into the Erdtree.
Preparation
- Holy damage negation: Lord’s Divine Fortification, the Haligdrake Talisman and a holy-resist Boiled Crab.
- Bring physical damage for the Elden Beast; do not rely on bleed or frost.
- Black Knife Tiche is excellent in both phases.
- Black Flame incantations deal percentage damage to the Elden Beast.
Phase 1 strategy
Radagon is aggressive but leaves long openings. Punish after his combos end.
Grab
Wait about two and a half seconds, then roll into Radagon.
Gold Breaker
A heavy hammer slam. Dodge forward to avoid it entirely.
Elden Shattering
A triple slam. Run away, then jump or dodge sideways.
Phase 2 – Elden Beast
The Elden Beast cannot be hurt by status effects, and Torrent is not available here. Stay close to its body and sprint after it whenever it moves away.
Golden Breath
Run to its back side.
Concept of Order (rings)
Golden rings close in on you. Run and jump over them.
Nova (stardust explosion)
Run directly away.
Elden Stars
A long-lasting barrage of homing stars. Keep sprinting and roll only when projectiles are about to hit.
Hand slam and sword swings
Standard dodge rolls work.
Best builds and tools
- High physical damage builds are best for the Elden Beast.
- Strike and fire damage for Radagon.
- Black Flame incantations for percentage damage.
- Avoid holy damage in both phases.
