Overview

General Radahn is one of the most iconic and cinematic bosses in Elden Ring. Fought during the Radahn Festival in Caelid, this battle is unlike any other due to its massive open battlefield and the ability to summon multiple NPC allies.

Radahn is a gravity-wielding demigod who combines overwhelming physical power with ranged magic attacks. His second phase introduces devastating meteor-based attacks that can one-shot unprepared players.

To access the fight, the Radahn Festival must be triggered by progressing Ranni’s questline or advancing certain story events.

This fight is designed for mounted combat. Mobility is critical.

🧙 Summon Allies

Use the summon signs scattered across the battlefield. NPCs will distract Radahn and create damage windows.

🎯 Close Distance Carefully

When Radahn fires gravity arrows at the start:

• Strafe sideways on Torrent
• Do NOT ride straight toward him

⚔️ Attack Windows

After:

• Dual blade slam
• Long combo finish
• Gravity pull explosion

Hit once or twice, then reposition.

Phase 2 Strategy (50% – 0%)

At 50%, Radahn jumps into the sky and disappears.

He re-enters the battlefield as a flaming meteor.
