What is Libra weak to in Nightreign?
Libra is weak to Madness first of all. Its damage negation also has three openings: Holy is its worst defense, then Fire, then Slash. Magic is the only type it resists, so leave pure sorceries for other Nightlords.

- Madness: once it builds up, Libra stops casting and only swings its staff, which makes it far easier to punish up close.
- Poison and Scarlet Rot: both build up quickly, so a poison or rot weapon is a solid backup if you find no Madness.

Before the fight, a merchant offers bargains: a buff in exchange for a drawback, for example more flasks for less HP. Accept or refuse before the countdown ends, or attack to start the fight.
Madness is the trick: once Libra goes mad it abandons spellcasting and fights only with its staff.
Libra’s deals: which ones to take
The deals are drawn at random, so you will not see all of them in one run. Three come up often and are worth knowing:
- Resistance to ailments: a big boost to your status resistances for a small Stamina cost. Usually the safest deal, because Libra’s attacks build Madness on you.
- Eventual greatness: you are weakened for a short time at the start, then get a lasting buff. Take it only if you can play defensively for the opening.
- A flask: an extra flask charge in exchange for some max HP. Fine for careful players, risky if you get hit often.
Key attacks and how to avoid them
- Rain of Light: step under the glyph or move sideways.
- Glyph of Light: sprint away before it erupts.
- Glowing circles: they build Madness on you, so leave them at once.
- Staff combos: stay behind it or strafe to the other side.
- Meditation / Shield of Madness: break the floating sigils to interrupt it.
- Frenzied attacks: roll toward it: its tracking is poor.

- Bring madness if you can: it shuts down its spells.
- Otherwise use Holy or Fire damage; a Slash weapon is the next best thing.
- Libra moves a lot, so a strong bow helps keep damage going between openings.
